Laurie
Patrice, MS, LPC, Executive Director of Psychological Services, has
been working in the field of psychology since earning her Master of
Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 1990. She has her professional
licensure through the State of Georgia. She is Board Certified by the
American Board of Professional Counselors and has additional
certification through the American College of Certified Forensic
Counselors as a Juvenile Treatment Specialist. In addition to her administrative responsibilities at Perspectives, she
enjoys working with children and adults, facilitating their growth and
healing. She employs a number of therapeutic approaches designed to
meet the specific needs of the client. She is guided by the philosophy
that all individuals have value and strength and the intrinsic desire
for growth and balance.
Jennifer Rybak, MA, Executive Director of Behavioral Services, earned
her Masters Degree in Psychology from James Madison University with
Honors. Working in the field of Behavioral Psychology since the 1990's,
Ms. Rybak specializes in working with people with special needs and
parents and children with anxiety, ADHD, and trauma histories. Ms.
Rybak also has extensive experience as an animal behaviorist, having
been a dolphin trainer and chimpanzee specialist. Her specialties
include the following: Autism, Asperger's Disorder, Down Syndrome,
Cerebral Palsy, and Selective Mutism. She was chosen as a 2008 Hero for
Autism by the Autism Society of America Greater Chapter. She is guided
by her philosophy that all individuals have great potential and sees
her role as assisting individuals in reaching their potential through
innovative approaches that tap into specific learning style and
strengths. |
